February 5, 2003 JEWS UNITED FOR JUSTICE RESOLUTION: CARE FOR THE ELDERLY POOR IN OUR COMMUNITY Jews United for Justice St. Louis (JUJ) is committed to advocating for long term nursing care for the elderly poor in our community. We urge the Jewish Center for the Aged (JCA) to reverse their recent decision to reduce Medicaid Certified beds for their new facility. We urge the JCA to certify all of the long term care beds in the new facility for low income Medicaid eligible older adults. As a part of the St. Louis Jewish community, JUJ is committed to acting as a partner with JCA and others to achieve this.
