Hilula

RSVP here
Please join us on Saturday evening, January 8, 2005 as Jews United for Justice celebrates the lives and works of Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel and the Reverend Martin Luther King, Jr., spiritual leaders whose respective paths led them to dedicate themselves to work towards a more socially just world. They were kindred spirits who worked together both politically and socially to effect change. During this time of year, let us recognize the amazing confluence of Rabbi Heschel's yahrzeit and Reverend King's birthday and gather together to honor their legacies.

We will have Havdalah and a coffeehouse program consisting of readings, poetry, music and song to recognize these two remarkable men. We also will be honoring our own David Lander, JUJ
founder
and our President for the past five years.

Our program will be held at 7PM at Bais Abraham, 6910 Delmar Blvd , just east of Big Bend . There is no charge for this event and our treats will be Kosher, however we need reservations to plan properly.
Please RSVP to either our address , JUJ, P. O. Box 460346 , St. Louis , MO 63146 or below by January 3, 2005 .
